Qualification Review 2012/13
Further to a meeting in Glasgow in November 2011.
The review has started and the some the structure has remained similar there are cosmetic changes to the titles and there will some content changes in the modules. Some of the other changes have still to be defined eg mandatory units, assessment, WBA's. The date of implementation has moved to March 2013 at present.
CIPS is to review all qualifications, whilst the structure will remain, content, subjects and assessment modes may be considered. At present the start date for the revised qualifications is September 2012. We will inform all students as the review progresses.
Update from November 2010 Conference
CIPS is going to review all qualifications in the course of 2011, therefore thee may be some changes to the courses we offer and the options we offer. Watch this space for more information.
CIPS will no longer offer their own learning material, the Profex books we use will be branded by CIPS (the contents will not change).
New Exam Schedule - Watch out for the changes when your booking
Starting 2010 there will be 5 exam dates each year.
January March May July November
Not all subjects will be examined at each date. Check if your choice of course with us before you book.
Purchasing Training - Now a Highly Commended Centre by CIPS - 23 March 2009
Purchasing Training have been awarded a Highly Commended Centre status by CIPS following the past visit. Many thanks for the staff of Purchasing Training for there efforts and also our students who have supported us produced the results to achieve this award.
CIPS Visit to the Centre in January 2009
The centre had it's annual approval visit from CIPS In January 2009. The report recognised we have has a successful year. CIPS were pleased to note the centre's excellent pass rates up from 84% last year to 87.4% this year and a steady growth in the student numbers.
