The CIPS Programme
The programme has 3 levels Foundation, Advanced and Graduate.
Each level has 5 subjects. In the Foundation level all 5 subjects are mandatory. In the Advanced and Graduate levels there are 3 mandatory subjects then 2 optional subjects.

CIPS Foundation Diploma
There are 5 mandatory subjects to be completed.The subjects are Effective Negotiations, Purchasing Contexts, Managing Purchasing Relations, Measuring Purchasing Performance, Developing Contracts. Link to Level 4
CIPS Advanced Diploma
There are 3 mandatory subjects and two optional subjects. The mandatory subjects are Managing the Purchasing Function, Risk Management & Supply Chain Vulnerability. There is a choice of three other optional subjects to complete the level. Link to Level 5
CIPS Graduate Diploma
There are three mandatory subjects and two optional subjects. The mandatory subjects are Leading & Influencing, Strategic Supply Chain Management, The Supply Chain Management in Practice module can be done by a case study exam or a work based project. Link to Level 6
